What is Kita-Aoyama D.CLINIC?

At Kita-Aoyama D.CLINIC, the “D” in our name represents three pillars of our mission: Day Surgery, Daily Health Care (Preventive Medicine), and Dermatology (Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Care).
Founded in 2000, our clinic was established as a new model of personalized, comprehensive, and advanced medical care for the 21st century. By integrating the latest medical technologies with cutting-edge equipment, we aim to deliver high-level, multidisciplinary care in an accessible and patient-centered environment.
Our founding philosophy is simple yet forward-thinking: high-quality, advanced medical care should not be limited to major university hospitals or large medical centers. Instead, such care should be available in everyday clinical settings—closer to patients and more integrated into their daily lives.
This belief brought together a group of young physicians in their early 30s, trained at the University of Tokyo and Keio University, who shared a common vision. Their experience in clinical practice and medical research at university hospitals laid the foundation for the creation of Kita-Aoyama D.CLINIC. Many of our original core staff members remain with us today, continuing to provide expert care with the same dedication and innovation.
Our clinic offers a wide range of services, including outpatient surgeries for conditions traditionally requiring hospitalization, such as varicose veins and herniated discs. We also provide comprehensive health check-ups, endoscopic screenings for early disease detection, preventive medicine to maintain long-term wellness, and anti-aging treatments to enhance quality of life.
True to our motto, “Innovation in Medicine”, we are also actively engaged in next-generation treatments, including regenerative medicine (stem cell therapy).
This website provides an overview of our medical services in English, Chinese, and Japanese (for selected content), to help patients from diverse backgrounds understand and access the care we offer.

Cancer Phototherapy

Our cancer phototherapy utilizes advanced materials that are effective across a wide range of cancer types, while significantly reducing the risk of photosensitivity. This therapy can be administered on an outpatient basis, offering a convenient and low-burden treatment option. Because it does not interfere with other therapies, our phototherapy can be safely combined with various conventional cancer treatments, providing a flexible and integrative approach to cancer care.

Liquid Biopsy

Liquid biopsy is a cutting-edge diagnostic technique that analyzes trace amounts of substances—such as DNA, RNA, amino acids, and others—found in bodily fluids like blood, urine, or saliva. This non-invasive test aims to assess the risk and early development of conditions such as cancer and dementia. By enabling early detection and risk assessment, liquid biopsy offers a powerful tool for preventive and personalized medicine.
